Position Overview
Wilson Brothers Lawn & Landscape is hiring a Landscape Technician involved in hardscape/softscape installation, plantings, lawn care tasks, and general landscape operations. This role blends construction skills with maintenance support and requires strong physical ability and a dedication to high standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with construction of hardscapes and softscapes.
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
Install plant material, mulch, soil, sod, seed, and edging.
Perform trimming, pruning, weeding, and lawn care tasks.
Operate tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chain saws, tampers, and saws.
Maintain clean job sites and follow all safety policies.
Complete daily paperwork and communicate progress to foreman.
Provide excellent customer service when on-site.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
Physically fit; able to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
Experience with landscape construction or maintenance preferred.
Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
Work Conditions
Outdoor environment in various weather conditions.
Work near heavy equipment and active job sites.
Fast-paced, physically demanding work.
Compensation & Benefits

This role includes stonework, grading, planting, equipment operation, and supporting construction crews on residential and commercial projects. Primary Responsibilities
Build patios, retaining walls, walkways, steps, and other hardscape structures.
Perform grading, excavation, base prep, and compaction.
Install landscape beds, trees, shrubs, edging, and sod.
Operate tools and equipment such as saws, tampers, compactors, and skid steers (if trained).
Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain safe, clean job sites and follow all safety standards.
Follow project plans, measurements, and instructions accurately.
Work collaboratively with the construction foreman and crew.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
Ability to read measurements and follow construction layouts.
Strong work ethic, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
Landscape/hardscape experience preferred but not required.
